A Crafting Kind of Day
Some days you wake up just feeling like a train has hit you, or a large truck in the least. The snow is falling outside and the motivation to make the kids do much for school just isn’t there. It becomes a crafting kind of day.
There was no more evidence of this than when the youngest followed an older sister, I’m not sure which one, downstairs where most of our crafting supplies are kept and came back up with paper. She wanted to cut off the one curled piece. Poor Grandma didn’t realize what this was going to lead to. 🙂
The cut off corner led a lot more being cut and eventually big sister got in on the action and made a hat. Then there was a belt the little one wanted to make so more cutting. You can get an idea of it here.
Yes I was still working on eating my breakfast as this all started. I think I might have had one sip of coffee before it all began.
What this all led to, as I tried to roll with the punches knowing that once the crafting begins it has to be pretty much followed to the end, was this…
Merry Christmas everyone from Santa/Elf Pikachu. 🙂
Now time to make dinner for the kids as we get ready for our handbell practice tonight.
Blessings,
